Mainly, a psychiatric diagnosis helps to develop a plan for treatment. Our doctors are well versed in the most successful treatment methods and will choose the best fit for their clients' needs. It is important to note that psychiatric diagnosis's has a variety of severities and also has subtypes and specifiers which help further define the diagnosis. There are 16 major diagnostic classes which include: Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Somatoform Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, Sexual and Gender Identity Disorders, Eating Disorders, Sleep Disorders Impulse Control Disorders, Adjustment Disorders and Personality Disorders. The majority of psychiatric diagnosis falls within one of the above diagnostic classes.
